A Few Easy Steps to connect using IPASS

1.

Launch IPASS by double-clicking the icon

located on your desktop

� Ensure the modem tab is always selected.

‚ Select the country eg. Greece

ƒ Select the city eg. Athens and you will see a list of telephone numbers to dial.

„ Click on the line to select the telephone numbers with speed of 56000; If you have difficulty connecting, try another number with speed of 33600 and lastly 28000.

… Check the dial properties

--- check to confirm whether you require additional digits to access outside line ?

--- ensure location same as selected number is selected.

† Click Connect

Under normal situation, you will not see this screen or change any settings here. Do not make any changes unless you have to do so.

When prompted to login,

enter the

username,

password and

save password

Click OK

5.

After the connection is established, the program will try to update the phonebook automatically if it is outdated.

You are now connected to the internet, you can now

· download your emails

· surf the internet

	Click the Send / Recv button

Internet Surfing (when oversea)

Right click the icon and click properties Click Connections > Never dial a connection Click LAN settings > Click OK	To disable proxy settings. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Note: you only need to enable the proxy a) when you dialup to SingNet 17132 using telephone line b) while in Singapore.
Launch Internet Explorer by double-clicking the icon	located on your desktop

REMEMBER to DISCONNECT the line when not in use.
